WebDarkest Dungeon plays pretty well with a Steam Controller. The emphasis on mouse controls makes it pretty easy to navigate combat and move through the dungeons. It could play better though, and the main issue is a lack of any keyboard commands for a lot of common actions in the game. I think the biggest example of this is looting. WebTutorial windows don't even have the correct graphics implemented. "Press [CROSS BUTTON] to [SELECT]." I was briefly involved in the early access but decided to wait until the console release to really sink my teeth into the game, and this control scheme is seriously turning me off. It is wrong on every single level.
