Throughout Matthew I get the feeling he may have been a little frustrated, but you can read for yourself and see if you get the same feeling. (In fact if you do read it, reach out to me and let me know if you came to the same conclusion. Would love to hear your thoughts.) Rather he broke the extra rules the religious leaders put in place to protect the law, and that made a lot of people mad.
